Thinkhouse is one of the world’s leading independent agencies (REF: Campaign Magazine).

Our production studio and creative services are growing and we’re on the hunt for an Agency Producer.

This is a full time, permanent position open to an experienced, ambitious candidate considering a new creative challenge in a growing international agency with large in-house production capabilities.

Youth culture and innovation is at the core of what inspires us, so we require an experienced and creative producer who understands production for emerging social and digital platforms as well as TVCs.

Our In-house production studio sits at the heart of our full service agency which offers through-the-line, culturally relevant marketing including; advertising; social, digital, PR and live event services. Our production studio shortcuts the traditional agency model and; as an agile brand partner; our team of producers, directors, shooters and editors have changed the face of how some of the biggest brands in the world create content.

THE ROLE 💪💪

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 8 years experience as an agency producer working both locally and globally. Knowledgeable about the legal and regulatory codes. Experienced in leadership.

ROLE OF AGENCY PRODUCER

Working with the in-house production studio, wider agency and client stakeholders - The Producer will manage the Studio’s workflow and engage the best suppliers / creatives for each project.

The Agency Producer will manage the production studio’s production process, from idea to execution, working in partnership with the client, creatives, account team and manage the production and post production process.

They will also manage the budget for each project and negotiate with the pre and post production companies when/where that aspect is outsourced.

The winning candidate will support the creative team and their idea; representing, owning, championing and finding creative solutions to bring the idea to life in accordance with the brief.

COLLABORATION

The winning candidate will lead Production in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including the production studio team; creative services teams; client service team; finance and HR/talent team. Externally, the Agency Producer will work with production and post production teams including sound technicians, copywriters, actors, and film producers, casting agencies, directors, photographers and lead clients for the project.

MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP

The winning candidate will have a proven track record in leading teams - including training of junior team members, production assistants and interns. The winning candidate is accountable for the performance of the studio, training and qualifications of the team and resourcing solutions. Responsible for attracting world-class talent to the production team, the candidate will be focused on the personal and professional development of their team and will be skilled at navigating their way through conflict in high pressure situations.

PRODUCTION SCOPING

The winning candidate will be capable of developing production scopes and costings for both large-scale international productions as well as suites of content for social and digital media. Managing the production budget, and the associated administration, in accordance with client and agency expectations. Partnering with finance on purchase orders, billable costs and people investments required. They will be skilled negotiators to navigate multiple expectations and needs whilst managing the budget and not compromising on the quality of the work. An awareness of rules surrounding usage fees, talent, contracts and shooting aboard is essential.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The winning candidate will oversee and manage the pre-production, production and post-production process- supporting the team to deliver animatic, moodfilms and soundscapes. They will work with internal Studio and external partners, where required, to develop seamless productions and support the creative team in the delivery of world class post production.

Other project management responsibilities include: Coordinating and managing the entire project in collaboration with the director and production services, commercial production, creative team and client service as required. Supplying commercials to air as per the technical brief is also required. Meeting clients- listening to their needs and trusted to manage the process for them.

PARTNERS

The candidate will be networked and have supplier, partner contacts including but not limited to: international and local directing talent, treatment developers, casting agents, actors, artistes and location searchers.
